Using the Analytics UI¶
Open /analytics and sign in with your Spiff Arena account. Select a model or
process group in the sidebar, or All Models for an aggregate view.
Filters¶
Use Date range for preset or custom dates; both dates are inclusive.
Add attribute filter narrows results by process metadata. Enter a value and
type (text, int, or float), then Save filter. Changes refresh automatically.
The date range follows you between models. Metadata filters carry over only when the selected model exposes those keys.
Views¶
Overview: Instance totals and activity/milestone completion across the whole matching cohort, including running and errored instances. Completion counts are distinct instances; percentages use the whole cohort. Branches need not form a funnel, and unfinished work does not imply abandonment.
In progress: Running instances and unfinished tasks. Where work is waiting shows time since tasks started, not pure waiting time. Repeated tasks can make task counts differ from instance counts.
Completed: Finished instances and cycle-time distributions. Where time is spent ranks activities by median duration. Percentile plots are approximate; milestone durations measure time since the previous milestone, not arrival counts.
Errored: Errors by model or task. Occurrences counts error records, not distinct instances.
Diagrams¶
Overview shows completion counts. In progress and Completed show duration coloring. Switch between tasks and milestones with Diagram view, and click an overlay for its duration distribution. Drill into call activities and use breadcrumbs to return.
Use Color options to choose subprocess coloring and Color thresholds… to set duration bands and a color scheme.
Export¶
Export data downloads instance and task CSV files in a zip, using the selected model or group and current filters.
